What a great pleasure to meet this man who lives in Burkina Faso and stayed in switzerland for a few weeks. With his work at AQUA ALIMENTA, he supports smallholder farmers with watertransport sytems. I am the proud daughter of my dad, who worked with Alex at Burkina and asked me to do that portrait as a gift for his visit in Bern. A wonderful opportunity for me, and a new experience to paint someone I have never seen and meeting him later with this catching smile!:-)
